FloodGuard Nairobi (FGN) is a tool developed for flood disaster preparedness, monitoring, response, and risk reduction. Incorporated with various geospatial layers, the tool identifies flood-prone areas along riparian reserves, as well as flood vulnerability scores within Nairobi County.
I presented my award-winning project for the ESRI East Africa 2025 Young Scholars Program. I emerged position 1 upon presenting my project titled; "EUDR Compliance: A Web-GIS Solution for coffee farmers in Muringato Catchment" in front of a panel of judges and other 17 nominees from Kenyan Universities.
Presented the developed EUDR Coffee Farmers Compliance Monitoring Application during the BMBF-MC2FM Project Stakeholders Workshop between Ruhr Bochum University (RUB) and the Remote Sensing Research Group (RSRG). EUDR CFCMA is a tool aimed at determining coffee farmers compliance with the European Union Deforestation Regulations (EUDR) in the Muringato Catchment.
